First Car Rental Centre in France has started successfully

On 18.05.2010, arwe Service France S.A.S. successfully put the initial stage of the first car rental centre in France into operation at Nice airport. After completion of all construction measures, the entire car rental centre, one of the most modern in Europe, was opened on 06.06.2011 at 6 o’clock.

Upon completion of the car rental centre, the companies AVIS, EUROPCAR, HERTZ and SIXT have been immediately integrated into the location. Their vehicles are managed by us quickly and in top quality through the turnaround system using state-of-the-art system technology and management tools. With our car rental centre we have not only implemented the concept of a central and close-to-terminal car rental reception and return service as the first in the branch; we have also set new standards in workplace layout and safety.

Our commitment has met with so much regard and attention that arwe has already been nominated for the Innovation Award of the Côte d´Azur economic region.

Nice is one of the highest passenger volume airports in France. In the high season, it is not only frequented by domestic flight passengers but also in particular by international tourists. During this time up to 2,000 turnarounds per day are expected. We are ideally prepared for this with optimised and practically proven process sequences, state-of-the-art equipment and a committed and motivated team.
