Dusseldorf airport hosts Europe’s most modern and up-to-date car rental centre (CRC) run by arwe.

With a capacity of 2,700 vehicles, the CRC is of strategic importance to Dusseldorf airport and plays a key role in the flow of passengers and its potential for growth.
2009 and handles the entire vehicle returns and preparation process for all the car rental companies.

The centre expects to handle 300,000 vehicle returns a year, which means that in peak periods 240 vehicles an hour will be processed by arwe Service GmbH.

arwe Service GmbH was involved in the early stages in planning the car rental centre overseeing its completion and incorporating leading edge technology. As part of this project, arwe has invested in state of the art washing – and interior cleaning equipment, high performance safety and monitoring systems and interactive digital control software.
